eQu’s vision and mission have been a passion for Allan Majotra since college. As a son and grandson of immigrants and refugees, he is honored to be a part of the organization at a crucial time and to help accelerate a positive change for under-represented groups in our societies.
Allan brings a strong and diverse background in investments, technology and entrepreneurship to eQu. He has served as a Founder and CEO of two start-ups, and held senior executive roles at Silicon Valley Bank, eBay, MUFG and at private equity and venture capital firms.
He has been involved in the advancement of women and minority-led private equity and venture capital firms throughout his career and is an active member of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation and the Association of Asian American Investment Managers.
Allan calls Chicago and Madrid his home and is a proud father of two girls, while enjoying tennis, cycling and all things outdoors. He has lived and worked across four continents, including, Japan, India, Israel, Spain, UK, Latin America and the U.S. Allan speaks several languages and was educated at Eckerd College, UCLA and the London Business School, as a Sloan Fellow.
Beatriz Clemente

Originally from Madrid, Beatriz has lived in the UK for the past 12 years. Her degree in Art History and her MA in Art Management launched her career within the arts. Initially, she worked for Banksy's agent and a variety of non-profit art organisations, but ultimately transitioned into the Film and TV industry where she's been producing a wide range of content for both corporate and non-profit organisations. Her latest production role involved her overseeing and producing two upcoming documentary series for Discovery Channel.

eQu's mission and values are very close to Beatriz's heart. Having a multicultural family herself, she's determined to build a more representative society with equal opportunities for current and future generations. Beatriz brings her practical and strategic knowledge gained in senior management roles within the media sector, combined with her passion, determination and enthusiasm for creating a more representative workplace for all to eQu Foundation.
